The Beauty of the First Spring Flower

Yes, I know that there have been tons of posts about the blooming of every variety of crocus but... I cannot stop myself! Finally, in my garden, is the very first blooms of spring. With all the hectic worry that has filled my life lately it was so pleasant to stop and "smell" the flowers.

Yesterday more white ones opened and now it really looks lovely. Unfortunately, I'm on the road again today so no time to actually enjoy them.

According to my mom's records we are about a week later than we should be. We just can't figure out why...

I keep running to the window to look at mine! Finally some color in my white and brown world.

They may be a week later than they should be but mine are a week earlier than last year so I'm not complaining!

Never too many crocuses! There just isn't such a thing as too many of them.

You won't be the last to post photos of crocuses. After a long winter nobody can resist showing theirs. Those first flowers are the outward sign of someone's soul blooming and who can't help but to share the elation they feel.
